Wycombe Jazz Fest Is Back For 2025

Wycombe Jazz Festival is back with a bang (or at least a chord) for its fourth year, winging its way to the Wycombe Arts Centre on Saturday 7th June.

The big name headliner this year is David Kofi, a London based pianist who’s played at the Royal Albert Hall and was nominated for the best jazz-blues act at the Unsigned Music Awards.

Take a look at some of his stuff on YouTube if you’re looking for a flavour of his work. Think atmospheric, contemporary, soulful sounds that really create a sense of time and place.

If you’ve caught any of the amazing Catch22 events on at the Front Room this year, you’ll be well acquainted with MLN Ensemble who are their house band. These guys are from Wycombe and know what this town wants when it comes to jazz. They’ll be opening for David Kofi.

This unique festival is here for one day only and will be a great way to support local culture and the arts so please support it by buying tickets if you can. It’s very reasonably priced and will be a fantastic way to spend a Saturday in town.

Plus, it’s not only about the music, but rather the community.

You can expect drumming and dancing workshops, local art, local food, and even face painting, making this a day for the whole family.

General admission tickets are £16.70 each and there are some great discounts for NHS staff, students, older adults and youths. Kids under 11 are free when accompanied by an adult ticket-holder.

Not only is this a great way to experience jazz right here in Wycombe, but you’ll be helping contribute to a great cause too as the team are fundraising for Wycombe Homeless Connection.

The team behind WJF 2025 are Catch22, Itchy Silk Creates and Wycombe Arts Centre with Chiltern Railways as the main sponsor.

Stay tuned for more updates on the line-up and maybe even a ticket giveaway…
