High Wycombe Choral Society

High Wycombe Choral Society is a choir founded in 1934, which gave its first concert on 7 November that year under its original name, the Oratorio Choir. It is a registered charity and stages two choral concerts a year at All Saints Church in Church Square, one in late November and one in March or April. Rehearsals run over a two to three month period before each concert, starting in early September and early January. The choir does not audition prospective members and states that sight-reading is not essential.

My Town Choir

My Town Choir is a community choir formed in January 2019, running sessions in High Wycombe and Chesham. It is led by Jo Edworthy, a professional opera singer, choir director and examiner, with Bob Allen as choir manager and Debbie Langham as accompanist for the Wycombe group. The choir is open to singers of all abilities, with no audition required and no need to read music. Sessions include a warm-up, vocal exercises and a break, working towards optional concert performances. The choir also holds fundraising concerts for locally chosen charities; a lockdown recording raised over £2,000 for Parkinson's UK.

Wycombe Philharmonic Choir

Wycombe Philharmonic Choir is a mixed voice choir based in High Wycombe, rehearsing weekly at Wesley Methodist Church on Priory Road. The choir performs three concerts a year, typically at Easter, in July, and at Christmas, with concerts held at venues in and around the local area. The choir has a long history in High Wycombe, originally known as the Free Church Choir before being renamed the Wycombe Philharmonic Choir. David Cooke has served as Musical Director since 2003. The choir welcomes new members of all voice parts and no audition is required to attend a rehearsal.
