The George & Dragon
Grade II listed pub, restaurant and hotel in the National Trust village of West Wycombe

Overview
The George & Dragon is a Grade II listed pub, restaurant and hotel situated on the High Street of West Wycombe, a village owned and managed by the National Trust. The building was established in 1720 on the site of a 14th-century coaching inn. The hotel offers 10 en-suite bedrooms, each reflecting the original architecture of the building, including exposed wooden beams and uneven floors. The pub and restaurant occupy the ground floor, with the restaurant serving a seasonal menu of British dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday menus are available. The pub features an original oval sign depicting St George slaying the dragon, which dates from the inn's founding. The Hellfire Caves and West Wycombe Park are within walking distance.
