Good morning, Wycombe!
It’s that point in the summer holidays where it dawns on me that the annual School Uniform Audit™️ is overdue. Obviously, they’ve grown out of everything. Obviously, if I buy new school shoes this week, their feet will hit an unprecedented growth spurt within roughly three weeks. Obviously, I will pretend not to notice until half term.
No one mentions this level of admin when they talk about the wonder of creating new life.

🍺 O'Neills' beer garden revamp approved — minus pergola and outdoor TV The Pauls Row pub gets timber booths, banquette seating, an opening in the front wall for step-free access and a ramped threshold at the back. ProCook has opened its doors, between SuperDry and Rituals in Eden. Definitely worth a look — quality cook and homeware with plenty of stuff offering a 20% discount to celebrate the opening (ends on Friday). Trying to convince the husband we need Amalfi-inspired crockery.
Wycombe Juice Bar is setting up shop on the High Street, next door to Making Smiles Orthodontics. They’re still confirming an opening date but planning to open in the next couple of weeks.
