Luxe Spa Land: A New Gem In High Wycombe

Luxe Spa Land has just opened its doors on Crendon Street and, after a tip-off from from one of my trusty readers, I popped in on their Opening Day to try their Deluxe Pedicure.

Spoiler alert: it was everything I didn’t know I needed. Here’s why you should check it out.

First impressions count, and Luxe Spa Land absolutely nails it (pun intended). The moment you step inside, it’s clear that this isn’t just your average nail salon. The décor is all soft taupes and smooth wavy panels, creating a relaxing, serene atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease.

It kind of reminded me of Mulberry’s in Beaconsfield, which, if you’ve ever been, you’ll know is high praise. Luxe Spa Land brings a real sense of calm, and I could easily imagine spending hours here, just unwinding.

I happened to visit on their opening day, and they really went all out to celebrate. There were balloons, goody bags, delicious snacks, and drinks on offer. It felt like a proper celebration, and the vibe was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived.

I was shown to a comfortable waiting area and offered a drink from a seriously impressive menu. Now, it’s not every day you get the option of a matcha latte in a nail salon, right?

Now, onto the real reason I was there – the pedicure. I won’t lie, a pedicure is one of those little luxuries I don’t treat myself to often enough. It had been at least a year since my last one, and trust me, my feet were showing the signs of neglect (don’t worry, no feet pics).

The first thing I was asked to do was pick a scent for the moisturiser. I went for Tropical Fruits, mainly because I loved the sound of its moisturising benefits and, of course, the smell was delicious. The staff then led me to one of their massage chairs (and trust me, you’ll want to go back for those alone). It’s not often I’ve experienced a massage chair that actually delivers on its promise, but this one did – I honestly felt like I’d had a full-body massage by the end of it, even if I did almost vibrate off the chair when I put it on the high setting…

The pedicure itself was exactly what I needed – soothing, thorough, and relaxing. After a soak, my feet were treated to some filing, cuticle trimming, a refreshing massage, and of course, a perfect coat of polish. The care and attention to detail was spot on, and I left feeling like I’d been properly pampered.

As it was their opening day, I also got a lovely goody bag, which included a foot mask, a full-size cuticle oil, and a cookie (immediately devoured by my kids when I got home).

I’ll definitely be back. I’m already eyeing up their full acrylic sets, gel manicures, and nail art. And I’ve heard a little rumour that once their customer base is up and running, they’ll be offering massages too – which I am so here for.

If you’re looking for a new spot to pamper yourself, now’s the time to visit Luxe Spa Land. In honour of their opening, they’re offering 30% off all services until the end of June – don’t miss out!
