Kicking off this summer’s art trail is Around Town, a travelling pop-up exhibition featuring works by our celebrated local artist Lorna Cassidy. Lorna’s work captures the essence of High Wycombe through vivid and expressive depictions of its buildings, landmarks, and familiar corners.
Whether it’s the red bricks of the town centre, the leafy paths of the Rye or hidden architectural gems, her paintings bring a fresh, affectionate lens to the places we see every day.

Bucks Art Weeks with Where Inspiration Blooms
📍Holy Trinity Church, Penn Street

Bucks Art Weeks is a county-wide celebration of visual art, and the team at Where Inspiration Blooms are putting together something special for their stop on the trail. The beautiful Holy Trinity Church is being transformed into a creative haven, featuring a curated collection of contemporary ceramics, illustration, textiles, printmaking, mixed media and more.
Expect a calm, welcoming environment and a chance to meet the makers themselves. There will also be refreshments available at a pop-up café and a beautiful setting to explore. A perfect day out for art lovers, browsers, and anyone looking to pick up a unique piece direct from the artist.

The Big Art Show 2025

Returning for another year, The Big Art Show at Wycombe Arts Centre promises to be bigger and bolder than ever. With loads of artworks submitted from local artists, this open-call exhibition spans painting, sculpture, photography, illustration and everything in between.
It’s an amazing opportunity to see emerging and established artists all under one roof, and a fantastic chance to support the creative community both locally and beyond. Like the exhibition above, it’s part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Bucks Art Weeks.
You can also expect live music in the garden and a kids’ craft station.
