High Wycombe in June is absolutely packed this year — and we mean that in the best possible way.
Whether you're after outdoor fun, live music, countryside walks, arts and culture, or just an excellent excuse to eat your bodyweight in street food, there is genuinely something on almost every weekend (and quite a few weekdays too).

Stand Up to Climate Chaos

Wycombe Friends of the Earth are bringing together stand-up comedy and climate action in one room — because sometimes laughing about the state of the world is the only sane response. There'll be a vegan hot food offering from Khepera (bookable with tickets), a bar with non-alcoholic options, and environmental stalls from 6:30pm before the show kicks off. It's a fun, community-minded night out with a cause behind it.
Summer Blooms in Pots: A Masterclass with Catherine Gibbon

If you've ever stared at a gorgeous container display and thought "how do they do that?", this is your morning. RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 Gold Medal winner Catherine Gibbon brings her expertise to Peterley for an intimate presentation-style masterclass on creating summer container displays that actually last. You'll also get a guided tour of Peterley's nursery and light refreshments. Spaces are limited, so book early.

Wycombe Jazz Festival — 5th Anniversary

Five years in and the Wycombe Jazz Festival has found a brilliant new home: the Brunel Engine Shed, right opposite the train station. Organised by Catch22 Jams, this year's anniversary edition promises a diverse lineup of emerging and established talent from across Bucks and beyond, celebrating jazz, funk and soul all day into the evening. Supported by Buckinghamshire Council and the National Lottery.
Wycombe Sinfonia: Entirely Romantic

A gorgeous evening of orchestral music as Wycombe Sinfonia perform an all-romantic programme: Glinka, Bruch's Violin Concerto (with soloist Eva Thorarinsdottir) and Tchaikovsky's sweeping Symphony No. 5. If you haven't been to one of the Sinfonia's concerts before, this is a brilliant one to start with — it's the kind of programme that reminds you why live classical music is worth every penny.
Bucks Art Weeks

Location: Various venues across Bucks
The biggest visual arts event in the county is back for its annual June run. Hundreds of contemporary artists and makers open their studios, pop-up galleries and exhibition spaces across Bucks — everything from sculpture and glass to jewellery, painting, textiles and photography. It's a brilliant way to discover local creative talent, meet artists in their working environments, and potentially pick up something beautiful. Classics on the Crick

Location: The Crick, Naphill
Over 450 classic cars and bikes, live entertainment, a real ale bar, food and a retail village — all raising money for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. This is a fantastic day out for families and car enthusiasts alike, set on the village green at Naphill. You can buy tickets online in advance or on the day.
Laceys Open Farm Sunday

Laceys farm is throwing open its gates for the day — milking demonstrations, tractor trailer rides, meet the animals (cows, calves, chickens, sheep, a horse), a fully stocked farm shop, BBQ, ice creams, coffee van and milkshake bar. No dogs on the day, but everyone else is very welcome. Timed entry sessions, so book yours in advance.

Wycombe Folk Session

Wycombe's regular folk session returns — a relaxed, sociable evening of folk music in a local setting. Whether you play or just want to listen, it's always a warm room. Hosted by Kelly Warfield from New Moon Morris.
Wilding Women

Location: Funges Meadow
Chiltern Rangers CIC are opening up the beautiful Funges Meadow — a nature reserve not usually open to the general public — for a women-only afternoon of guided nature exploration and light conservation tasks. It's a lovely, social way to spend a couple of hours outside this summer. Free parking on Keep Hill Road; a lift from the depot at Fennels Road is available if needed (book as an add-on). Adult women only for this session.
Select Comedy at Patch — Pride Month Show

June's edition of High Wycombe's grassroots comedy club is a special one — an all-queer bill to celebrate Pride Month. Headlining is Russell Arathoon, a rising star who won The Comedy Store's King Kong on his very first gig and has been headlining clubs across the country ever since. He's joined by opener Dan James (named Best of 2025 at Just For Laughs Toronto, tour support for Joel Kim Booster), Natalie Durkin (West End New Act of the Year finalist), with Will Davies on MC duties. A brilliant night out at a brilliant price.
Brickies Beer, Ale & Cider Festival

The Brickies beer festival is always a good one — real ales, ciders and good company in the heart of Downley. Expect a number of fun events over the course of the festival, including tap takeovers, live music, kids' pizza party, karaoke and a BBQ.

Napfest 2026
Dates: Friday 12 June (outdoor cinema + family rave) & Saturday 13 June (fete + live music)

Location: Naphill Common
Napfest is back for its second year since the relaunch, and this community festival is shaping up to be a proper summer treat. Friday evening brings an outdoor cinema and Big Fish Little Fish family rave; Saturday is the main event with a free family fete, food vendors and Napfest Live — local bands playing into the evening. All profits go towards the village hall.
Talk and Tea: An Arts & Crafts Country House and Garden in Great Missenden
Date: Saturday 13 June

Location: St Peter and St Paul Church, Great Missenden
An illustrated talk by Katharine Hersee exploring a beautiful Arts & Crafts house and garden in Great Missenden — designed in 1902 by local architect Ernest Willmot for the Dalrymple-Goldingham family as a country retreat within easy reach of London. Illustrated with maps, photographs and newspaper articles, the talk is followed by a full afternoon tea, raffle and homemade preserves. All proceeds go towards restoration works at the historic parish church. Tickets available on the door or from Samways.
Still Pointless: BalletBoyz at 25

Celebrating 25 years on stage, BalletBoyz return with Still Pointless — a retrospective featuring 10 world-class dancers moving through excerpts from their rich history, combining live dance and film. Choreographers include Christopher Wheeldon, Maxine Doyle and Javier de Frutos; composers include Max Richter and Keaton Henson. Co-produced with Sadler's Wells. One for the diary if you love contemporary dance.
High Wycombe Pride 2026

Wycombe Pride is back and it's bigger than before. Daytime on Saturday brings a stall market, live shows and community entertainment; the evening features a huge free headline show. The whole town comes together to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community with colour, music and connection. And head to Patch on Sunday for a family Pride event, complete with a self-expression catwalk.

Wolf Boy — Outdoor Theatre

Drama in the Woods bring their magical outdoor theatre production Wolf Boy to the local area — the story of 8-year-old Wilf, who is always a wolf, always a pirate, always an explorer, until the day he runs away to the woods in search of his true pack. Perfect for families with younger children, and exactly the kind of thing summer evenings were made for.

A free guided walk led by museum volunteer Denise Lindsay, uncovering the hidden history of High Wycombe's High Street. Starting at Pann Mill and ending at Wycombe Museum around 11:30am — a lovely morning out that'll make you see familiar streets with new eyes. Book via the museum website.

Calm AF Sound Bath

Location: Hughenden Village Hall
Billed as "deep rest for people who can't switch off" — which sounds like most of us, if we're honest. This immersive sound bath uses crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, percussion and deep resonant gongs to guide you from frantic to calm in an hour. Just turn up, lie down, and let the sounds do the work. Falling asleep is actively encouraged. Adults 18+ only; free parking.
Hughenden Stream Dipping with Not Bourne Yesterday

A hands-on morning dipping nets into the globally rare Hughenden chalk stream to discover the mini-beasts and macroinvertebrates living there. A wonderful, free morning that's genuinely fascinating for adults and kids alike.
Father's Fest 2026

What better way to celebrate Father's Day than a proper summer festival on a beautiful Chilterns farm? Summer Solstice

Neurodiversity & The Creative Mind: Experimental Drawing Workshop
