Heidrun

Heidrun is a tap room and bar located on Paul's Row in the town centre, opened in August 2016. The venue specialises in craft beers alongside a food menu, with food served Monday to Wednesday from 4pm to 10pm and Thursday to Sunday from midday to 10pm. The bar operates on a walk-in basis and has no fixed closing time, trading until late each evening. Heidrun stocks a rotating selection of craft beers.

Mad Squirrel

Mad Squirrel Wycombe is a craft beer tap room and bar located on Church Street, operating across two floors of a building with exposed brick walls and a vaulted ceiling. The bar offers 20 taps of Mad Squirrel and guest beers, brewed at the Mad Squirrel brewery in Potten End, Hertfordshire, alongside wines, ciders, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks. The food menu features wood-fired pizzas, bratwurst hotdogs and loaded fries. The venue regularly hosts live music, open mic nights, comedy, quiz nights and other events. Table bookings and private hire are available.

Rose and Crown

The Rose & Crown is a traditional real ale pub on Desborough Road, situated close to the bus station and the Eden shopping centre. The pub holds CAMRA Regional Pub of the Year 2025 and is listed in the Good Beer Guide, with Cask Marque accreditation. It offers four rotating cask ales alongside a full bar. Facilities include a dartboard, jukebox, heated outdoor patio area and large-screen TVs showing Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Live music takes place on the third Sunday of every month. Dogs are welcome.

Spindle & Thread

The Spindle & Thread is a Marston's pub on Bellfield Road, near Morrisons. The menu covers pub classics, burgers, lighter bites, desserts and a Sunday carvery, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Facilities include a beer garden with a children's play area, a fireplace, sports TV, car park, electric car charging, and accessible access and parking. The pub is dog-friendly throughout. Table booking is available, and food and drink can be ordered via QR code at the table through the Marston's app. Events include pub quizzes and live music nights.

The Chequers, Wheeler End

The Chequers Inn is a traditional country pub located in the village of Wheeler End, on the rural outskirts of High Wycombe. Believed to date back around 300 years, the pub features original low beamed ceilings and an open fire, with a large garden and patio to the front and rear. The pub serves food throughout the week, with a menu of traditional pub dishes including Sunday roasts. It is family and dog friendly, and is surrounded by countryside with walking and cycling routes nearby.

The Three Tuns

The Three Tuns is a traditional pub situated on the High Street. Housed in a listed building dating from the 18th century, the interior features a long wooden bar that opens out into a larger space to the rear. The pub screens live sports and hosts live music nights. Th pub reverted to its historic name of The Three Tuns in 2017, having previously traded as The Hobgoblin.
